Suneet Sidhu

Suneet Sidhu is a Partner in Dentons' Real Estate practice group and US Sector Co-Lead, Real Estate, based in Atlanta. He advises financial institutions, investors and developers on the acquisition, financing, development, leasing and sale of commercial properties across healthcare, multi-family, retail, hospitality, office, industrial and data centers.

A significant portion of his practice involves advising banks, life companies and debt funds on secured and unsecured lending transactions, including complex revolving and term senior debt, conduit loans, mezzanine loans, syndicated financings and loan modifications. He also represents clients in the acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate projects, as well as domestic and cross-border joint venture transactions. Notable matters include representing the administrative agent on a US$1.25 billion syndicated facility for a publicly traded REIT, advising on a US$655 million senior secured facility for a healthcare REIT, and representing a national student housing developer on multiple ground-up developments and recapitalizations involving joint venture partners and multinational lenders.

Suneet holds a J.D., with honors from Emory University (2012) and a B.A., with honors, from the University of Florida (2008).

He is recognised by Chambers USA as an outstanding real estate lawyer in Georgia and named by The Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law. He serves on the board of the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (Southeast Chapter) and is a graduate of LEAD Atlanta (Class of 2019).
