Paul D. Tvetenstrand

Paul D. Tvetenstrand is a Partner in Dentons' Capital Markets Law practice, based in the New York office. He concentrates in mortgage-backed securities, representing investment banking firms as issuers or underwriters in public offerings and private placements of mortgage pass-through certificates.

Mr. Tvetenstrand has extensive experience in securitizations employing a wide variety of credit support and tax structures, resulting in the issuance of securities with simple to complex payment characteristics. He has represented several of the nation's largest residential mortgage loan conduits in numerous public offerings of multiple class mortgage pass-through certificates, and also advises servicers and insurers in connection with public and private securitizations.

He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School (1983) and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University (1982). Prior to joining Dentons, Paul was a managing partner at Thacher Proffitt and Wood LLP.
