David L. Natter

David L. Natter is a Partner and member of the Dentons Capital Markets practice. His primary practice area is Capital Markets Law. He is the head of the Dentons US Corporate Agency and Trust Services team (ranked Band 2 by Chambers USA for 2026) and co-head of the Dentons global Agency and Trust Services group (ranked Band 2 by Chambers Global for 2026).

He represents major financial institutions in their roles as trustees, securities administrators, master servicers, collateral administrators, collateral agents, calculation agents, escrow agents, paying agents and backup servicers in matters involving CLO transactions, whole business transactions, aircraft securitisations, esoteric financings, asset and mortgage-backed securitisations, project financings and corporate debt issuances.

He is ranked Band 2 Nationwide for Securitization: Trustee Counsel by Chambers USA (2026), with clients praising him as "an invaluable partner" who is "as compassionate as he is intellectually adept." Prior to joining Dentons, he was with the law firm of Thacher Proffitt and Wood. He holds a JD from New York University School of Law (1999), where he was on the editorial staff of the New York University Environmental Law Journal, and a BS in Communication, with honors, from Cornell University (1996).
