Sahana Ragunathan

Sahana Ragunathan is a Managing Associate at Dentons and a member of the firm’s Capital Markets practice, focusing on Capital Markets Law. She advises on derivatives and other capital markets transactions, including the negotiation and documentation of trading agreements and related credit arrangements.

Sahana represents domestic and global financial institutions and other market participants on transaction structuring, regulatory issues and the drafting and negotiation of trading and transactional documentation. Her areas of focus include banking and finance, capital markets, derivatives and structured products, financial institutions, investment banks and private equity.

Prior to joining Dentons, she was an associate in the Corporate department at an international law firm, where she advised clients on a range of corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital financings, lending arrangements, insolvency transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.

She also previously worked at Goldman Sachs, where she supported global cross-asset derivative desks for institutional clients across Asia and EMEA.

Sahana holds a JD from Columbia Law School (2022) and a BBA with honors from Christ University (2016).
