C. Randall Nuckolls

C. Randall Nuckolls is Senior Counsel in the firm's Regulatory, Public Policy and Government Affairs practice, based in the Washington, DC office, practicing in Administrative Law. He has more than thirty years of experience working on federal policy issues, counseling clients on federal legislative, regulatory, and ethics issues, assisting in planning legislative strategy, and providing input to Members of Congress and Congressional committees.

Mr. Nuckolls served for ten years in the United States Senate in senior staff positions, including six years as Chief Counsel and Legislative Director for Senator Sam Nunn. He has served as general counsel or Washington counsel for corporations, higher education institutions, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations. His practice includes advising clients on federal ethics issues, federal election law, lobbying law compliance, and the Foreign Agents Registration Act. He has conducted more than 70 seminars and conferences on federal and state ethics, lobbying disclosure, FARA, and campaign law compliance.

Randy holds a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law (1977) and a BSA from the University of Georgia (1974). He has received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities, the Blue Key Service Award from the University of Georgia, and the Spirit of SIBF Award from the Society of International Business Fellows.
