Arin Aragona

Arin Aragona is a Partner in Dentons' Corporate, Private Equity and Cannabis practice groups, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, government regulation, business organization and reorganization, debt and equity investments, and capital raising.

He advises clients across a variety of industries, including finance, alcohol, banking, cannabis, manufacturing, technology, real estate, energy, and agriculture, with clients ranging from small start-ups to large public companies. Notable transactions include serving as lead counsel in First Merchants Corporation's proposed merger with First Savings Financial Group (approximately US$2.4 billion in assets) and German American Bancorp, Inc.'s merger with Heartland Bancorp (approximately US$1.9 billion in assets), as well as representing clients in cannabis license transactions valued in excess of US$20 million and numerous business divestitures valued at over US$250 million.

Arin holds a J.D., cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School (2007) and a B.B.A. in Business Administration with high distinction from the University of Michigan (2005).

He was previously general counsel and chief operating officer of a boutique private equity firm and has been recognized as one of 20 People to Know in Law by Louisville Business First (2024).
