Amelia Lewis

Amelia Lewis is a Partner in Dentons' Real Estate Law practice, based in the St. Louis office. She focuses on financing transactions involving federal and state new market, historic, and low-income housing tax credits, and represents clients regarding state tax credit programs including brownfield credits and Missouri Development Finance Board contribution credits.

Ms. Lewis represents lenders, developers, nonprofits, community development entities, and tax credit investors in connection with residential and commercial real estate developments, as well as financing for operating businesses. Her transactions have also included tax-increment financing, tax-exempt bonds, special taxing districts, and real property tax abatement.

Amelia holds a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley (2000) and a B.A. with distinction from Stanford University (1997). She has been recognized by Chambers USA as Band 1 in Missouri: St Louis & Surrounds in Real Estate (2022-present), by Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law (2013-present), and received the St. Louis Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Award (Class of 2015).
