Zuhair Riaz

Zuhair Riaz is a Managing Associate in Dentons' Commercial Litigation group, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He maintains a broad-based complex commercial litigation practice, focusing on complex insurance litigation, including M&A transaction liability insurance disputes arising under representations and warranties insurance policies.

Zuhair has substantial experience across insurance, securities, white-collar matters and complex contractual disputes. His work includes managing, quantifying and resolving pre-dispute insurance claims involving alleged losses stemming from M&A transactions. He also represents clients in civil litigation matters involving negligence, fraud and breach of contract, and has experience in all phases of litigation, including fact development, discovery management, depositions, witness preparation and motions practice. He regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings.

Zuhair holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law (2022) and a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (2017).
