Tyler Keenan

Tyler Keenan is a Partner in Dentons' Real Estate Law practice, based in the Atlanta office. He focuses on the acquisition, financing, leasing, development, and disposition of commercial real estate, representing national and global entities in multi-family, office, retail, and mixed-use transactions, including joint ventures, ground-up construction, development and financing, easements and declarations, triple-net and ground leases, and related due diligence.

Prior to focusing on transactional law, Mr. Keenan litigated complex commercial disputes, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on best practices for reducing risk and legal liability exposure. He has represented a national fast-casual pizza concept in connection with over 200 lease amendments during the COVID-19 pandemic, a transnational multi-family developer in connection with over US$300 million in acquisitions and dispositions, and a global athletic brand in lease negotiations for a new store concept.

He holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law (2013) and a B.A. from the University of Michigan (2010). He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Ones to Watch in Real Estate Law (2023-present), as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star in Real Estate (2021, 2023, 2024), and by Georgia Trend as Legal Elite in Corporate and Real Estate Law (2020).
