Stephen Yang

Stephen Yang is a Partner in the New York office, practicing in the firm's Intellectual Property Law and Litigation practice. He has served as lead counsel and first-chair at trial for clients across the pharma, MedTech, telecom, software, and high-tech sectors, with deep expertise in federal court litigation, Section 337 investigations before the US International Trade Commission, and inter partes reviews before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Yang has worked extensively with international companies from Europe and Asia, helping them break into and thrive in the US market by guiding them through US litigation, regulatory compliance, and IP strategies across jurisdictions. Earlier in his career, he served as in-house counsel for a major pharmaceutical company, managing dozens of active litigations and advising the CEO and board on legal issues. He began his legal career with judicial internships with the Hon. William G. Young (US District Court, District of Massachusetts) and the Hon. Robert J. Lynn (New Hampshire Supreme Court).

Stephen holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law (2012) and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin (2009).
