Robert M. Wasnofski, Jr. is a Partner in Dentons' Intellectual Property and Technology practice, based in the New York office, practicing in Intellectual Property Law. He has over 25 years of experience litigating IP disputes before federal courts, the USPTO, and arbitration forums, including trademark, copyright, and patent infringement, counterfeiting, unfair competition, and false advertising cases.

Mr. Wasnofski has significant experience with trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution, and licensing, as well as IP due diligence and negotiating agreements for the purchase and sale of intellectual property assets across industries including fashion, media, sports and entertainment, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications. Notable representations include securing a $32.7 million statutory damages award for Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton in a counterfeiting action, obtaining a consent judgment including a permanent injunction and settlement payment for Portkey Technologies in a trademark infringement action, and representing Mastercard in trademark enforcement matters for over 25 years, handling more than 100 TTAB proceedings.

He holds a J.D. from Pace University School of Law (1996) and a B.A. from St. Joseph's College (1993).
