Sarah L. Winston

Sarah L. Winston is an Associate in Dentons' Health Care practice, specialising in Health Care Law. She has experience in health care law, regulatory interpretation, and administrative proceedings, having advised the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on a range of initiatives, including Medicaid Section 1115 Demonstrations, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics, and Medicare programs such as the Ambulance Fee Schedule and Opioid Treatment Programs.

Prior to joining the Firm, Sarah served as an Attorney Advisor at the US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of General Counsel, CMS Division, and clerked for Special Master Thomas L. Gowen at the US Court of Federal Claims in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. She has also worked in the US House of Representatives, the Office of Inspector General at HHS, and the US Attorney's Office in Philadelphia. She brings a strong public service background to the Firm, including roles as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Federated States of Micronesia and as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Philadelphia.

Sarah holds a J.D. and an M.P.H. from Temple University (2021), and a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh (2014).
