Nicholas E. Uhler

Nicholas E. Uhler is a Shareholder in Dentons' Corporate Group. His practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, private equity, venture capital financings, corporate succession planning and general corporate law matters.

Nick represents financial-sponsor and strategic businesses in connection with their acquisitions and divestitures, financing transactions and other commercial matters. He routinely represents private equity funds, their portfolio companies and closely-held businesses in a wide variety of transactions and growth initiatives.

He also has extensive experience advising investors, companies and executive teams in connection with venture and growth capital financings, with an emphasis on emerging businesses and early-stage financings. Prior to rejoining Dentons Cohen & Grigsby, Nick was an associate at an international law firm based in Pittsburgh.

He holds a JD, summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received the David Stahl Memorial Award for the highest GPA in his graduating class. He also holds a DC, summa cum laude, from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he was valedictorian, and a BS in Biology, highest distinction, from the University of Michigan.
