Michael D. Winterhalter

Michael D. Winterhalter is a Shareholder at Dentons, practicing in the Corporate group, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He is co‑leader of the Firm's National Corporate practice group and leads the Dentons Cohen & Grigsby Corporate practice group, and serves on the Firm's Executive and Oversight Committee and Compensation Committee.

Mike's transactional experience includes control transactions, acquisitions and divestitures of subsidiaries and product lines, domestic and international joint ventures, tax‑free spin‑offs, public and private tender offers and mergers, internal reorganizations, private equity transactions, and securities sales. He regularly counsels clients on day‑to‑day legal and business matters across a variety of industries, including automotive, metals, aerospace, energy, defense, chemicals, building products, software, construction, and financial services.

Mike holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School (1995) and a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University (1992). He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
