Meg (Margaret) Christensen

Margaret (Meg) Christensen is a Partner and serves as General Counsel for Dentons Bingham Greenebaum in Indianapolis, focusing on commercial litigation, appellate advocacy and lawyer ethics.

She represents clients in complex business disputes in both state and federal courts, including multi-million dollar contract disputes, shareholder liability, enforcement of restrictive covenants, unfair competition claims and dissolutions. She also represents lawyers and other professionals in disciplinary proceedings before the Indiana Supreme Court and state licensing boards, and has significant experience in media law, defamation defense, reputation management and public access litigation. She has appeared before the Indiana Supreme Court and the Indiana Court of Appeals on matters ranging from insurance coverage disputes to construction defect claims and public records access. She also handles the appellate phase of complex business disputes and has worked on COVID-19 business interruption coverage appeals, solar farm development litigation and corporate veil‑piercing matters.

Meg holds a J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2007) and a B.A. in Communication, magna cum laude, from DePauw University (2004).

She is recognised by Chambers USA for Litigation: Appellate, by The Best Lawyers in America for Appellate Practice, Commercial Litigation, Ethics and Professional Responsibility Law, and Litigation - First Amendment, and is listed in Indiana Super Lawyers. She is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and serves on the Indiana State Bar Association's Ethics Committee, and is a frequent presenter on legal ethics and professionalism across Indiana.
