Martine Romy Bernard-Tucker

Martine Romy Bernard-Tucker is a Managing Associate at Dentons, practicing in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She represents clients on a broad range of matters in state and federal courts, working closely with clients to develop litigation strategies that meet their needs, whether through trial or alternative dispute resolution.

Romy is an experienced litigator who spent over 10 years at the Marion County Public Defender Agency, where she litigated more than 2,000 cases and tried more than 100, and was responsible for training teams in client service and courtroom advocacy. Prior to joining Dentons, she served as Director of the Office of Public Health and Safety in Indianapolis, serving as a primary advisor to the Mayor on public safety and public health matters.

She holds a J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2011) and a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Berea College (2008). She is admitted to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
