Alex Gude

Alex Gude is a Partner at Dentons, practicing in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He focuses on trade secret, intellectual property, and non‑compete disputes, as well as fiduciary litigation in corporate and probate contexts, securities litigation, and government and utility litigation.

Alex advises employers and employees on protecting valuable company assets, enforcing or defending non‑compete agreements, and defending against trade secret misappropriation claims. He has obtained a full defense jury verdict for one of the largest physician groups in the Midwest (American Health Network), represented the City of Carmel before the Indiana Supreme Court in a significant utility regulation case, defended against a petition to confirm a US$50 million international arbitration award under the New York Convention, and successfully prosecuted a US$1.6 million jury verdict on a breach of fiduciary duty claim. He also advises clients on securities litigation, trustee and beneficiary disputes, and utility rate and service matters.

He holds a J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2009) and B.A. and B.S. degrees from Indiana University (2006).
