Forrest D. Gothia

Forrest D. Gothia is a Managing Associate in Dentons' Intellectual Property and Technology practice group, based in the Dallas office, practicing in Intellectual Property Law. He is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO with extensive experience in patent litigation at the ITC and in Federal District Courts, as well as throughout the entire patent prosecution life cycle. His experience spans electromechanical oil and gas devices (including surface and subsurface equipment), automated drilling software, aerospace components and software, 5G wireless technologies, composite materials, and various software platforms.

Mr. Gothia has handled a variety of issues at all stages of litigation, working alongside clients to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of their cases and prepare them for depositions and trial testimony. He holds a J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law (2021), where he served as Survey Editor for the Journal of Property Law and participated in the Patent Clinic assisting underprivileged clients, and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University (2018).
