Christopher Schardon

Christopher Schardon is a Patent Agent at Dentons, practicing in the Intellectual Property and Technology group, specializing in Intellectual Property Law. His work focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the life sciences and agricultural biotechnology fields.

Chris holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin (2016), where his doctoral research focused on the development of novel covalent enzyme inhibitors for use in chemical biology and therapeutic development. He also holds a B.S. from Trinity University (2010). Prior to joining Dentons, he was a licensing associate at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center's Office for Technology Development, where he negotiated IP licensing agreements and worked closely with researchers and clinicians to determine the value proposition of their inventions. He is a Registered Patent Agent before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
