Amy H. Ironmonger

Amy H. Ironmonger is a Partner in the firm's Real Estate practice, based in Charleston, advising developers, owners, investors and operators on resort and mixed-use development, hotel acquisitions and sales, hotel operations, and general real estate matters across the United States, Caribbean, Latin America, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

Her practice includes structuring and documenting resort and planned communities involving condominiums, condo hotels, shared ownership products, private clubs, golf courses, hotels, marinas and spas; negotiating hotel management agreements, franchise agreements and branded residences documentation; structuring private membership club programs; and drafting master-planned community documents. Notable matters include advising on Four Seasons resort and branded residences projects in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas, representing a private equity fund and luxury hotel brand on a large resort and master-planned community in Barbuda, assisting with the sale of Kiawah Island Resort and Christophe Harbour Resort, and representing a publicly traded REIT in the US$2.3 billion acquisition of 72 medical office properties across 15 states.

Amy holds a J.D. from the Charleston School of Law (2011), where she was an Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia (2003).

She is recognised by Chambers USA for Real Estate in South Carolina and for Leisure & Hospitality nationally, and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Real Estate Law. She is also an internationally acclaimed sailor, having competed in and won numerous sailing events worldwide.
