Tucker T. Kunzel

Tucker T. Kunzel is an Associate and a member of Dentons' Real Estate practice with broad experience representing a myriad of clients in complex commercial real estate transactions. His primary practice area is Real Estate Law.

He advises on acquisitions, financing and dispositions involving multifamily, office, industrial and other commercial real estate assets. His work spans all stages of real estate deals, including contract negotiation, due diligence and closing.

His representative experience includes representing two Korean multinational banks in connection with the refinancing of a three-building, 265-unit Class A multifamily community in Portland, Oregon; representing a Japan-based financial services group publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in connection with the leasehold acquisition of a 315-room hotel in Waikiki; and representing an institutional lender in over 30+ multifamily and commercial loans, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and bridge loans.

He has also represented a Korean investment firm in connection with the $157.5 million acquisition of a multifamily building in Williamsburg; represented the asset manager of a Korean investment firm in connection with the $87 million mezzanine financing of an Amazon-occupied office building in Seattle; represented a Korean real estate investment firm in connection with the acquisition and financing of an Amazon-occupied distribution centre located in Pennsylvania; and represented a real estate investment trust in connection with the $722 million sale of five industrial logistics centres.

Other matters include representing a national real estate investment firm in the acquisition of two distribution centres having a combined 1.05 million square feet of space, with Home Depot and Pepsi as long-term tenants (receiving an honourable mention in Law360), and representing a high-net-worth investor in connection with the $1.5 billion acquisition and financing of a Class A office property portfolio across six states.

He was recognised in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America, Real Estate Law, 2027. He holds a JD from New York University School of Law (2017) and a BA from UC Berkeley (2014).
