Jon Linder

Jon Linder is a Partner and a member of Dentons' Real Estate practice. His primary practice area is Real Estate Law.

He has broad commercial real estate experience advising developers and investors in the acquisition, disposition and financing of office, retail, multifamily and mixed-use properties, as well as representing financial institutions and private lenders in the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans. In addition, he has experience negotiating commercial leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants.

His recognition includes being named in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America, Real Estate Law (2024–present) and as a New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star, Real Estate (2016–2023).

He is a co-author of "Driving Force: Understanding Syndicated Loans and Multi-Tiered Financing" (Summit Journal, February 2025), "Understanding syndicated loans and multi-tiered financing — Part 2" (Australian Banking and Finance Law Bulletin, May 2024) and "Understanding syndicated loans and multi-tiered financings" (Australian Property Law Journal, November 2023).

He holds a JD, cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a BA, cum laude, from the University of Miami.
