Susanna Taylor

Susanna Taylor is an Associate at Dentons, practicing in the Corporate group, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. She works with clients on business organization, corporate governance, M&A, and strategic transactions, drafting and negotiating various instruments and advising on business structures.

Susanna serves as outside general counsel to privately held businesses, identifying and solving problems, roadmapping strategic action, and drafting and negotiating instruments for a wide range of legal and business issues. She represents buyers and sellers in M&A transactions of various sizes and advises on strategic succession planning. Notable matters include serving as counsel to First Merchants Corporation in its merger with First Savings Financial Group, Inc. (effective February 1, 2026), and advising Jasper Holdings in its acquisition of Jenkins Holdings, Inc. (closed July 1, 2025).

Susanna holds an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business (2024) and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (2024), where she served as a Note Editor for the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review. She also holds a B.S. in Management with Distinction from Purdue University (2015). She is admitted to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
