Susan Nesbet-Sikuta

Susan Nesbet-Sikuta is a Shareholder in Dentons Cohen & Grigsby's Naples office, focusing on domestic and international estate planning and estate administration. She is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts & Estates Law, one of fewer than 330 attorneys in Florida to hold this designation.

She works closely with clients to develop and implement effective strategies for both long and short-term estate planning. Her knowledge of the German language complements her work with international clients on issues specific to resident and non-resident alien U.S. estate tax and succession planning. She frequently speaks on the topics of establishing Florida domicile, estate planning and related issues, and is fluent in German.

Susan holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University (2004) and a B.A., magna cum laude, in German literature from Harvard University (1986). She also completed graduate studies in German literature at Indiana University Bloomington and graduate studies in German literature at the University of Freiburg.

She is a member of the Florida Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Division), the Collier County Bar Association (Trusts and Estate Section), the Estate Planning Council of Naples, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), where she holds a STEP Advanced Certificate in Cross Border Estates with Distinction. She is a Board Member and Treasurer of the United Arts Council and participates annually in the Collier County Legal Aid Society Wills for Heroes event.
