Sharon Kantrowitz

Sharon Kantrowitz is a Partner who helps hospitals, medical groups and other health care providers on a wide range of critical legal issues. Her primary practice area is Health Care Law.

She advises clients on how to safely maximise Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements and minimise disallowances, including ensuring that providers receive the maximum allowable reimbursements while avoiding any disallowances that could reduce their payments.

Additionally, she defends these providers against audit challenges and False Claims Act challenges, which can arise when there are allegations of fraudulent claims for reimbursement. She also handles recoupments and negotiates beneficial and compliant affiliation relationships, helping health care providers form partnerships and collaborations that comply with legal and regulatory requirements while also being advantageous for their operations.

She has been listed in Best Lawyers in America, Health Care Law, 2025–2027 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

She holds a JD from New York University School of Law, an M.P.A from Princeton University and a BA from Harvard University.
