Robert M. Linn

Robert M. Linn is a Shareholder with Dentons in Pittsburgh, focusing on complex commercial litigation, banking and lender liability, non-compete and trade secret disputes, intellectual property and employment law. He is licensed in both Pennsylvania and California and has litigated extensively in federal and state courts across the country.

He has successfully prosecuted and defended cases involving breach of restrictive covenants, theft of trade secrets, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, TCPA claims, shareholder disputes, and class actions. Notable successes include obtaining a multi-million dollar settlement on RICO claims, enforcing indemnification covenants against contractors, and securing favorable rulings on personal jurisdiction and summary judgment in high-stakes commercial disputes. He has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials and evidentiary hearings.

Bob holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude from Brown University.

He is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, teaching trade secrets and corporate espionage, and serves as an AAA arbitrator and Early Neutral Evaluator for the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
