Monica Loudon

Monica Loudon is a Counsel in Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, focusing on complex commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on financial services matters.

She has deep experience advising and defending banks and financial institutions in a wide range of disputes, including wire fraud, discrimination, account ownership disputes, Fair Credit Reporting Act claims, and consumer banking and credit card litigation. Prior to joining Dentons, she served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., where she managed nationwide litigation teams and resolved disputes involving consumer and business banking accounts, credit cards and auto loans. Her practice also includes securities class actions, product liability litigation, and arbitration matters.

Monica holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School (2012) and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Northwestern University (2008).

She was recognized as a Top 40 under 40 in Illinois by the National Black Lawyers (2020) and serves on the Cornell Law Alumni Executive Board. She is a frequent panelist and speaker on topics including career transitions and women in leadership.
