Lucy E. Hill

Lucy E. Hill is a Shareholder in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, based in the Pittsburgh office. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, including disputes relating to contracts, mergers and acquisitions, covenants not-to-compete, trade secrets, and corporate governance and shareholder litigation.

Ms. Hill has represented clients throughout all stages of litigation and pre-litigation, including state and federal court proceedings, arbitration, preliminary injunction hearings, and mediation. Her notable representations include obtaining denial of a motion to dismiss for a private equity fund purchaser in a fraud and contract dispute, opening a multi-million dollar confessed judgment due to fraud, and securing preliminary injunctions for employers in non-compete and trade secret matters.

Lucy holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law (2013), where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, and a B.A., cum laude, in English Literature from Northwestern University (2008). She previously served as a law clerk to the Hon. James Orenstein in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and has been selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for Business Litigation (2024).
