Marcus B. Schneider

Marcus B. Schneider is a Shareholder in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, based in the Pittsburgh office, practicing in Commercial Litigation. His litigation practice encompasses a wide range of civil litigation matters in federal and state courts, including complex commercial litigation, employment disputes, unfair competition and trade secret disputes, restrictive covenant disputes, and constitutional law matters.

Mr. Schneider has a strong record of appellate success before state and federal appellate courts, with precedential opinions from Pennsylvania's intermediate appellate courts and the Third and Fourth Circuits. Notable representations include successfully representing a student against a public school district in a First Amendment challenge to a Ten Commandments monument, obtaining a precedential opinion from the Third Circuit; representing a professor in a Title VII retaliation claim resulting in a $1 million settlement; representing 50% shareholders in a corporate deadlock dispute; and obtaining enforcement of a CIETAC arbitral award on an expedited summary judgment motion.

Marc holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (2008) and a B.A. in Philosophy, Law and Liberal Arts from The Pennsylvania State University (2005).
