Kelly R. Graf

Kelly R. Graf is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at Dentons in Los Angeles. She defends companies in consumer class actions, complex litigation, and related regulatory actions, consistently achieving successful results in high-stakes disputes across the insurance, financial services, and consumer products industries.

She has extensive experience in life and disability insurance litigation as well as insurance coverage litigation across various lines of insurance, including professional liability and commercial general liability. Her practice includes defense of bad faith claims, declaratory judgment actions, consumer claims regarding loss of insurance, sales practices, cost of insurance, and agent misconduct claims. She also defends clients in class actions alleging violations of the California Invasion of Privacy Act, product labeling and advertising claims, and violations of California's Automatic Renewal Law.

She is passionate about pro bono representation, particularly for survivors of domestic violence. She has won three appeals of trial court decisions denying orders of protection, including one resulting in an en banc, precedent-setting opinion that is routinely cited by domestic violence advocates. She was named Volunteer of the Year by the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago in 2016.

She holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School (2012) and a BA with honors in History and Art History from New York University (2009). She is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America as "One to Watch" for Commercial Litigation, Entertainment and Sports Law, and Insurance Law.
