Christopher Milenkevich

Christopher Milenkevich is a Partner and a member of Dentons' Real Estate practice group. His primary practice area is Real Estate Law, with almost fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate law.

His practice focuses on lender and borrower-side finance, including commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and balance-sheet loans, mezzanine loans, note purchases, repurchase facilities and preferred equity. His practice covers diverse real property asset classes located around the globe, and he has extensive experience with hotel and leisure properties.

He also represents real estate investors in secondary market transactions through whole loan sales, purchases, syndications, participations and securitisations. In addition, he strategises and executes workouts and exercises of remedies with respect to distressed real estate loans and loan interests, and provides advice on real estate matters in litigation and bankruptcy cases.

He is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He holds a JD from New York University School of Law (2003) and a BA in Middle East and Asian Languages and Cultures from Columbia University (1996).
