Joe Mulberry

Joe Mulberry is a Senior Licensing Specialist in Dentons' Capital Markets practice. His primary practice area is Banking and Finance Law.

Prior to joining Dentons, he was a financial services regulator for the Wyoming Division of Banking for 29+ years, where he served in roles ranging from field examiner to Deputy Commissioner. He was involved in the regulation of state-chartered banks, mortgage lending companies, mortgage brokering companies, mortgage loan originators, non-mortgage consumer lenders, payday lenders, pawnbrokers and money transmitters.

He was also very involved in state regulatory associations throughout his career as a regulator, serving as a two-time president of the National Association of Consumer Credit Administrators (NACCA), president of the American Conference of Uniform Consumer Credit Code States (ACUCCCS), board member for the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators (AARMR), and on various committees through the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS). He is a recipient of the NACCA Distinguished Service Award.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wyoming (1991).
