Eliot S. Markman

Eliot S. Markman is a Senior Managing Associate in Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, focusing on Commercial Litigation. He helps clients by focusing on the specifics of their situations, ensuring tailored and personalised representation.

His focus on litigation has allowed him to refine his skills through practical experience and a track record of success, with extensive experience in both oral and written advocacy at every stage of litigation, including trial. He also advises in construction and engineering, financial services litigation, and real estate litigation and dispute resolution.

Prior to law school, Eliot worked at the United States Department of Agriculture, gaining insight into administrative and regulatory processes. He later served as a law clerk to Hon. Corinne A. Beckwith of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and as a judicial extern to judges of the US District Court for the District of Nevada.

He is recognised in Best Lawyers in America, “Ones to Watch” for Commercial Litigation (2026). Eliot holds a JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School (2018) and a BA in History, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin (2013).
