Brad R. Copeland

Brad R. Copeland is a Managing Associate in Dentons' Commercial Litigation practice, based in the St. Louis office. His practice focuses primarily on complex regulatory and commercial matters, with a focus on insurance litigation, including coverage issues, bad faith, employment issues, contract disputes, and class action litigation. He has extensive experience at both the trial and appellate levels.

Mr. Copeland has secured dismissals in high-stakes disputes and resolved complex matters through mediation, arbitration, and enforcement proceedings. Notable representations include obtaining eviction of a holdover tenant after successfully arguing that the CDC's eviction moratorium did not apply, securing a replevin order for the return of a commercial vehicle for a national lender, and successfully obtaining dismissal of a bad faith claim against an insurer under a property insurance policy following storm damage to a hotel.

Brad holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law (2020) and a B.S., Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2017).
