D. Bryan Weese

D. Bryan Weese is a Partner at Dentons, practicing in the Real Estate Law group. He focuses on real estate and development transactions, serving corporate and development clients, institutional and private investors, and utilities. He assists with all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisition, sale, and leasing of improved and unimproved real estate, and complex transactions involving office, industrial, retail, mixed‑use, and other occupied spaces.

Bryan has significant experience in the wind energy sector and utility real estate practice, including acquisition of transmission line corridors, substation sites, and headquarters facilities. Recent notable matters include serving as counsel to Onebridge in its acquisition by Marlabs LLC, advising German American Bank on the US$40 million sale of its insurance subsidiary to Hilb Group, and representing a national lessor of waste compactor equipment in its acquisition by a national compactor rental company. He also served as lead real estate counsel for a local government in connection with a public‑private partnership for a proposed criminal justice center and has represented wind energy project developers on due diligence, title, leasing, and opinion matters.

He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia (1990) and a B.A. in Political Science, with honors, from Indiana University (1987). He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1990.
