Clayton S. Elwell

Clayton S. Elwell is an Associate at Dentons Davis Brown PC, practicing in the Real Estate Law group. He assists with commercial real estate leases, purchases, dispositions, and financing, and is also actively involved in transactional business and mergers and acquisitions.

Clayton regularly drafts and negotiates leases, purchase agreements, and letters of intent for real estate companies, and provides comprehensive legal support for commercial development projects including land acquisition, zoning, and regulatory compliance. He has engaged with small to mid‑sized municipalities to ensure compliance with licensing and environmental regulations, and has assisted small business owners with entity organization, tax compliance, employment agreements, and contracts. He also provides legal counsel to non‑profit organizations, facilitating incorporation and securing tax‑exempt status.

He holds a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School (2024), where he was a student attorney in the Entrepreneurial/Transactional and General Civil Clinics, and a B.A. in Business Law with minors in Real Estate and Political Science from Arizona State University (2020).
