Bety Javidzad

Bety Javidzad is a Partner in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, based in the Los Angeles office, specializing in Commercial Litigation. She represents national and international clients in bet-the-company multimillion- and multibillion-dollar cases in federal and state courts, with particular emphasis in false advertising, breach of contract, business fraud, unfair competition, trademark and copyright infringement, TCPA claims, privacy, and other consumer protection-related matters.

Ms. Javidzad has secured multi-million dollar recoveries and protected clients from billions of dollars in potential exposure. Her notable representations include helping obtain a jury defense verdict on behalf of a movie investor in a class action seeking an estimated US$1.6 billion in damages, representing a pay-TV technology developer in a US$1.6 billion piracy lawsuit resulting in a favorable jury verdict, successfully defending a media-streaming platform with full dismissal of claims alleging defamation and related claims, and representing a prostate supplement company in multiple competitor actions involving false advertising and trademark infringement. She also represents clients in the e-commerce, fashion, advertising, media, fintech, blockchain, and consumer product industries.

Bety holds a J.D. from UCLA School of Law (2005) and a B.A., summa cum laude, from UCLA (2002). She has been recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in business litigation (2018-2021), named a Los Angeles Business Journal "Women of Influence: Attorneys" (2023), and has been recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as a Top Attorney.
