Sarah Hannah Phillips

Sarah Hannah Phillips is a Partner in Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She focuses on complex business disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants, construction disputes, and consumer disputes with financial institutions and businesses, including those arising under the FDCPA and related state laws. Her practice also encompasses contract disputes, Constitutional litigation, class actions, real estate litigation, employment disputes, fraudulent transfer litigation, insurance coverage and professional liability litigation.

Sarah Hannah has tried cases for plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts, and has represented claimants and respondents in arbitration before JAMS and the AAA. Notable matters include obtaining summary judgment in a class action real estate dispute, dismissal of TILA, RESPA, FCRA and FDCPA claims against a financial institution, and successfully litigating fraudulent transfer and defamation issues before the Georgia Supreme Court. She also represented an insurance carrier in a high-profile dispute involving an actor and his former lawyers.

Sarah Hannah holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, an M.A. in Teaching, summa cum laude, from Converse College, and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Wofford College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated as Honor Graduate with the highest GPA in her class.

She is recognised in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law (2022–2026) and has been named to Georgia Trend's Legal Elite for General Practice/Trial Law (2019, 2021, 2023). She served as a speaker on Ethics and Professionalism in the Age of COVID-19 for the State Bar of Georgia.
