Mark Trigg

Mark Trigg is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at Dentons in Atlanta, focusing on commercial litigation, including corporate and partnership disputes, class actions, defamation and media claims, sports and entertainment cases, real estate disputes, insurance controversies, securities litigation, professional liability defense and white collar criminal defense.

He has over three decades of experience as a trial lawyer and has litigated numerous complex cases throughout the United States. Notable representations include successfully defending a municipality and its aviation department in a US$3 billion procurement challenge, defending a metropolitan transit authority in a US$220 million contract dispute, and obtaining a defense verdict in a case where the plaintiff sought over $50 million in a jury trial involving ownership of a movie production facility. He has also defended major airlines, public school systems, professional athletes, entertainers, public officials and corporate executives. He has appeared before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in numerous reported decisions, and has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Mark holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law, a B.A. in Philosophy from Millsaps College, and completed coursework toward an M.Div. at Emory University's Candler School of Theology.

He is recognized by Chambers USA for Commercial Litigation (2013–2026), by Best Lawyers in America in multiple categories including Commercial Litigation and Entertainment Law, and by Benchmark Litigation as a Litigation Star. He has been named "Lawyer of the Year" for Entertainment Law – Music in Atlanta (2018, 2021) and is a member of Leadership Atlanta (Class of 2003).
