Julia Funk

Julia Funk is a Managing Associate and a member of Dentons' Capital Markets practice group. Her primary practice area is Capital Markets Law.

She focuses her practice on representing trustees, securities administrators, collateral administrators, collateral agents, calculation agents, paying agents and custodians in matters involving whole business securitisations, aircraft securitisations, other asset-backed securitisations and collateralised loan obligations.

While in law school, she interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Enforcement and Lincoln Square Legal Service Inc.'s Community Economic Development Clinic, and provided pro bono services through the Uncontested Divorce Project at Sanctuary for Families.

She holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law (2021), where she was on the Fordham Urban Law Journal, an Edmund P. Hennelly Scholar, an Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award recipient and a participant in the SEC's Division of Enforcement Student Honors Program, and a BA in Mass Communications, magna cum laude, with minors in Advertising and Psychology, from the University of Delaware (2016).
