Ian C. Green

Ian C. Green is a Partner in Dentons' Corporate practice, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, and general corporate matters. He often works with international companies operating in the US, guiding them through legal frameworks to achieve their strategic objectives, and serves as outside general counsel to clients across a range of industries.

His experience includes advising a global provider of cloud-based management software and services on its acquisition of a cloud-based enterprise resource planning software company; representing a national lessor of waste compactor and baler equipment in its acquisition by a national compactor rental company; serving as lead counsel for furniture manufacturing clients in the redemption of Class A and Class B shares; and representing numerous lenders and commercial borrowers in secured and unsecured commercial finance matters, including syndicated credit facilities in excess of $5 billion.

Ian holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (2016) and a B.A. in International Relations from Oakland University (2012).

He is recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Corporate Law (2026) and has been selected for New England Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2021–2026).
