Ellen Burno

Ellen Burno is an Attorney in Dentons' Commercial Litigation practice, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She represents insurers and reinsurers in arbitrations, mediations and litigation in state and federal courts, handling a wide range of insurance coverage disputes, including property damage, construction defects, bad faith claims, aviation claims and COVID-19-related issues.

Ellen has extensive experience defending medical providers and healthcare organisations against allegations of negligence, elder abuse, unfair business practices and wrongful death. She also handles claims against long-term care and residential facilities, and is skilled in litigating healthcare compliance issues, corporate due diligence and compliance, and has managed multidistrict litigation cases.

Ellen holds an LL.M. in Healthcare from DePaul University College of Law, a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, and a B.A. from DePaul University.
