Charles Vantine

Charles Vantine is a Partner and Chair of Dentons' US Construction practice group, specialising in Construction Law. He represents project owners, general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, design professionals, utilities and manufacturers across all project phases, including project contracting and procurement, project administration and dispute resolution.

Charles has extensive experience across a broad range of project delivery methodologies, including design‑bid‑build, design‑build, construction management, EPC and EPCM contracts on multi‑million dollar projects. He has prosecuted and defended significant construction disputes involving design and construction defects, schedule and delay claims, contract defaults, mechanic's liens, and payment and performance bond claims. Notable projects include representation of the Chicago Cubs on the redevelopment of Wrigley Field, the developer of an ultra‑high‑end luxury casino hotel in Las Vegas, and numerous hotel and resort projects across the US, Mexico and the Caribbean, as well as energy and LNG facility matters.

Charles holds a J.D. from St. Louis University (2003) and a B.A. from Concordia College (2000).
