Ceasar C. Mitchell, Jr.

Ceasar C. Mitchell, Jr. is a Partner in the firm's Regulatory, Public Policy and Government Affairs practice and head of the Local Government Solutions practice, based in the Atlanta office, practicing in Administrative Law. He bridges the public and private sectors, representing private sector and government entities in arranging public funding for acquisition, construction, and redevelopment of multi-family housing and mixed-use projects, and financial institutions in crafting financing solutions for commercial and residential land acquisitions and development.

A past president of the Atlanta City Council, Ceasar also served two four-year terms as an at-large member of the City Council. He served on the governing boards of the Atlanta Regional Commission, Georgia Municipal Association, and the National League of Cities' nationwide taskforce on the opioid crisis. He is a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute, a board director for Points of Light, Inc., and past board chair of Hands on Atlanta.

He holds a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law (1995) and a B.A., cum laude, from Morehouse College (1991). He has been named one of Atlanta's 100 most influential citizens and was featured in Georgia Trend's "Top 40 under 40" issue.
