Alissa H. Rowens

Alissa H. Rowens is a Managing Associate at Dentons, based in New York. Her practice focuses on Real Estate Law, covering a wide range of commercial real estate financial transactions.

Alissa's practice includes mortgage and mezzanine loans, securitized financings, construction loans, revolving credit facilities and portfolio-level transactions. She represents institutional lenders and real estate investors in connection with the financing, acquisition and refinancing of luxury hotels, office buildings, resorts, data centers, self-storage facilities, multifamily, industrial properties and mixed-use developments located in key markets and major cities across the United States.

While attending Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Alissa was named to the Order of the Coif and served as an associate editor of the Cardozo Law Review.

Prior to her time at Dentons, Alissa maintained a robust pro bono practice, representing New Yorkers in public housing matters, advocating for incarcerated individuals in parole denial appeals and assisting transgender clients with legal name-change proceedings. She also made significant contributions to the Lawyers for Good Government Reproductive Rights Project.

She holds a JD, magna cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University (2021) and a BA from the University of Michigan (2017).
