Ted Delcima

Ted Delcima is a Managing Associate in Dentons' Commercial Litigation practice, based in the Miami office. He represents individuals, as well as public and private companies, in intricate commercial litigation, insurance coverage and reinsurance matters, government investigations, and white-collar criminal defense, with experience in CGL, D&O, E&O and professional liability policies, and contract disputes.

With a background as a licensed financial specialist and business analyst, Mr. Delcima brings a unique business perspective to his legal practice. He has handled complex disputes including high-stakes commercial litigation, pre- and post-indictment investigations of high-net-worth individuals and businesses, and intricate contractual disputes. He has also handled pro bono Section 1983 claims advocating for victims of excessive force by police officers and volunteers at free legal clinics in Miami-Dade County.

Ted holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law (2021), where he served as Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association and worked with the Miami Health Rights Clinic, and a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Legal Studies from Nova Southeastern University (2012).
