Elizabeth DeGori

Elizabeth DeGori is a Senior Managing Associate in Dentons' Commercial Litigation practice, based in the Miami office. She represents both individual and corporate plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state court across a variety of matters, including contract disputes, class action defense, insurance disputes, multidistrict litigation, restructuring and bankruptcy-related litigation, and disputes arising under federal and state civil rights statutes.

Prior to joining Dentons, Ms. DeGori served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the General Litigation Division at the New York City Law Department, where she defended the city and its agencies and employees in civil rights litigation. She received the 2017 Division Chief Award for outstanding performance. She also represented a multinational company in two bellwether trials in the largest MDL ever filed, with over 230,000 plaintiffs, resulting in a complete defense verdict, and represented a national telecommunications company in the prearranged restructuring of more than $18.5 billion in funded debt.

She holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law (2014), where she was named a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar for public service, academic merit, and leadership, and a B.A., cum laude, from Scripps College (2010). She has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, "Ones to Watch" in Commercial Litigation (2026).
