Sean M. Kirwin

Sean M. Kirwin is a Partner in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, based in the Atlanta office, practicing in Commercial Litigation. He works with clients to solve commercial and personal legal problems, with experience defending clients against products liability, toxic and mass tort, personal injury, premises liability, and healthcare litigation, including class actions and multi-district litigation, as well as False Claims Act investigations and litigation.

Mr. Kirwin has handled all aspects of pretrial litigation, including drafting pleadings, pre-trial memoranda, dispositive motions, and trial briefs; arguing motions; and taking and defending fact, expert, and corporate representative depositions. He often serves as the primary client contact and has robust experience developing and implementing litigation strategy.

He holds a J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law (2012), where he served as Student Defender, and a B.A., cum laude, from the College of Charleston Honors College (2006). Prior to law school, he was a political consultant in Washington, DC. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, "One to Watch," for Commercial Litigation (2024-2025).
