Scott M. Brennan

Scott M. Brennan is a Shareholder at Dentons Davis Brown, with a general litigation practice focused on business and commercial litigation, administrative matters, construction litigation, and insurance defense.

He represents businesses in high-value contract and commercial litigation and defends insurance companies against claims of personal injury, dram shop liability, and property damage. He also advises clients on bidding issues and appeals to governmental bodies, and provides outside counsel to governmental agencies. He has successfully litigated multiple jury and bench trials in federal, state, and administrative courts. Notable representations include obtaining a defense verdict for a lender client against a plaintiff seeking millions in damages and representing a bidder from the initial stage through trial to secure a government contract in excess of US$3 million.

Scott holds a J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law (1993) and a B.A. from Grinnell College (1985).
