Sarah Laren

Sarah Laren is a Partner in Dentons' Litigation department and Labor & Employment Practice group, focusing on employment law, including litigation, counseling, and compliance.

She represents clients in matters pending before state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies. Her experience includes obtaining favorable outcomes in binding arbitration for a national retailer accused of workers' compensation retaliation, securing summary judgment for a petroleum company on employment discrimination and retaliation claims, and obtaining dismissal of an employment discrimination and retaliation lawsuit against a transcription service. She also conducts workplace investigations and advises clients on leave and accommodation processes, wage and hour compliance, employee handbooks, personnel policies, and arbitration agreements.

Sarah holds a J.D. (with Distinction) from the University of Kentucky College of Law (2013) and a B.A., summa cum laude, in Foreign Language & International Economics (French) with a minor in Japan Studies from the University of Kentucky (2010).

She is recognized as a "One to Watch" by The Best Lawyers in America in Labor and Employment and Litigation – Labor and Employment, and has been selected to the Kentucky Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in Employment and Labor.
